Atheist summer camps
Summer camp seems a very American idea to me. Some children do enjoy them.
The law in England is that all schoolchildren are compelled to take part in acts of worship of a God.
After a year of compulsory worship of a god they do not believe in, is it surprising that some students want a break?
Is it surprising that there are Christians who mock a secular summer camp, yet see nothing wrong in legislation forcing children to worship God in schools?

I'm not sure it's correct that UK law says children have to take part in acts of worship. Do you have a reference? It might well be, I just don't remember having to when I was at school.
Section 70 of the 1998 Act states that"…each pupil in attendance at a community, foundation or voluntary school shall on each school day take part in an act of collective worship."
